This documentary takes an in-depth look at the world of modern slavery. Although slavery has been outlawed in Western nations, for the most part, since the 19th century, there are still parts of the globe where it continues. Maleno Malenotti's film examines how slavery continues in illegal and underground networks in Arab, Asian and African countries, especially in regards to female sexual slavery. The graphic footage may be shocking, but it also calls attention to a neglected problem.
