Four women take a boat trip to an island and run into a group of gangsters.

Description

Four women meet in Miami Beach: Ann, escaping a tenant farm and her drunken, lecherous stepfather; Betty, tired of her job as secretary to a sex-crazed executive; nightclub singer Kathy, fleeing a suitor; and Dixie, a truckstop waitress who has obtained a package of money as a result of the murder of a truck driver. Soon they become friends and decide to spend their holiday together. They meet four men beside a pool and spend an evening together. The next day the couples rent a yacht. The motor breaks down near an island, and the men fix the boat while the women picnic on the island. Two crooks come to the island, bury a parcel, and chase the women. The four men subdue the crooks, retrieve the parcel, a fortune in jewels, and call in the Coast Guard. The eight return to Miami Beach to continue their holiday.
